CONTROLS * Slovakia - Česmad Slovakia supports call for single OBU

Bohemia,Slovakia -Trucks Europe, by Michel Buckinx -6 Dec 2010: -- Česmad Slovakia (an association of Slovak transporters) in cooperation with Česmad Bohemia and the IRU, have launched an operation under the name of ‘OBU on-board equipment = road safety’. The aim of this is to speed up the decision of the European Commission relating to the use of a single on-board unit in all of the countries of the EU (inter-operability).
